30 maja br. na częstotliwości 12,284 GHz, pol. H, SR: 27500, FEC: 3/4; DVB-S2/8PSK na satelicie Eutelsat Hot Bird 13B (13°E) zameldował się test kanału Polsat Sport 2. Zastąpił on kanał PPV Cyfrowego Polsatu. Z kolei na 10,758 GHz, pol. V, SR: 27500, FEC: 3/4; DVB-S2/8PSK na Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C (13°E) pojawił się test kanału Polsat Sport 3. Z tego transpondera wyłączono VOD 213.
Polsat Sport 2 i Polsat Sport 3 to dwa nowe kanały Telewizji Polsat, której właścicielem jest Cyfrowy Polsat. Obie te stacje rozpoczną nadawanie 10 czerwca 2016 roku i pokażą wszystkie mecze turnieju Euro 2016, rozgrywanego we Francji.
Jednocześnie kanały Polsat Sport 2 i Polsat Sport 3 pojawiły się na liście Cyfrowego Polsatu – na pozycjach odpowiednio 222. i 223.
